Anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma can deeply impact your well-being and relationships. Sometimes, patterns formed early in life can hold us back, even when we want to move forward. Major life transitions can also feel isolating and difficult to manage alone. Therapy offers a space to explore these feelings and experiences and discover new insights, connections, ways of coping and growing - and ultimately, healing.
My approach to counseling is eclectic, grounded in the belief that with genuineness, acceptance, and empathy, healing becomes possible for everyone. Because each person’s journey is unique, I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs - working with you to find solutions that feel meaningful and achievable. The tools we use and the pace we follow will depend on your personality, preferences, and goals. I believe deeply in the power of insight-oriented talk therapy and the importance of a strong, trusting relationship between therapist and client.
As a social worker, I am committed to social justice and to practicing in an anti-racist, inclusive, and continually evolving way. I welcome and affirm individuals who identify as LGBTQ+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, autistic, gifted, or highly sensitive (HSP). My own lived experiences, both personal and through close family connections, have shaped my commitment to being an ally and advocate. These experiences deepen my respect for diverse perspectives and ways of being in the world.
